Here are some highlights of what we heard:
- Provide bicycle and walking accommodations. Northridge has the highest student walker numbers of any school in the community. Jackson serves neighborhood families that walk and ride for recreation.
- Accommodate the schools and make it safer for buses, parents, and children to access the schools.
- Make it green by removing the wall to wall concrete and add some landscaping that will also help clean our environment.
- Slow people down. Motorists on Jackson drive to fast. Install traffic calming measures to slow thru traffic down.
- Reconstruct the English and Voorhees intersections with Jackson and re-align the offset legs. See our intersection simulations!
